Planeat does not require an account and does not collect personal information. All your data — favorites, recipe ratings, meal plans, shopping lists, cooking history, calorie log entries, and settings — is stored locally on your device only.
Device Data: The app reads your device's language setting to show the app in your preferred language. No device identifiers are collected or transmitted by us.
Premium purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase and subscription status is managed by Apple/Google and stored on your device.
TheMealDB: Recipe data (names, ingredients, instructions, images) is sourced from TheMealDB.com. Fetching recipes may send network requests to TheMealDB's servers; these requests do not include any personal data.
We do not currently use any analytics or crash-reporting services.
All app data is stored locally on your device using standard secure device storage. We do not operate a server that stores your personal data.
Since all data stays on your device, you are always in control: deleting the app or clearing its data removes everything. There is no account to delete because none is created.
Planeat is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
